This Glossary constitutes an official deliverable of the Work Package 2 : Upskilling of academic communities towards socio‑academic empowerment, prepared within the framework of the Erasmus+ cooperation partnership project EGAL-I : Fostering socio‑academic inclusion, innovation and justice for refugee students.
The EGAL-I Glossary provides explanations of key terms and concepts-used throughout its implementation, related to refugee inclusion into Higher Education. Its main goal is to foster shared understanding and effective communication among project partners and all other stakeholders involved in the project.
By offering consistent definitions, the EGAL-I Glossary helps reduce misunderstandings, supports collaboration across different disciplines and cultural backgrounds, and ensures that project activities are based on a common language. It is designed as a practical tool that can be used both within the project and by external audiences interested in the inclusion of refugees into Higher Education.
The Glossary was developed during the kick-off meeting of the project through a collaborative process involving all project partners, taking national contexts and differences into account.
As a living resource, the EGAL-I Glossary will be regularly updated to reflect new insights, policy developments, and emerging practices.
