Cet événement vise à réunir, en deux débats publics, deux catégories d'intervenants dans un but complémentaire :

Une table ronde réunissant des étudiant.e.s en exil, soit inscrit.e.s au D.U. Passerelle, soit ayant déjà terminé cette formation et étant actuellement inscrit.e.s dans une formation universitaire ou étant actif.ve.s dans la vie professionnelle.
L'objectif de ce premier échange sera de recueillir les témoignages de ces étudiant.e.s et ancien.ne.s étudiant.e.s afin de mieux accompagner les étudiant.e.s en exil avant leur arrivée à l'université et mieux cibler leurs besoins : quels types d'informations ? quel type d'aides ? Quel type de formation sociolinguistique et académique ?
Durée : 1h
Une table ronde avec des représentants des associations et du D.U. Passerelle de l'université Paris 8, afin de faire remonter les besoins exprimés par les publics accueillis (à la suite de la première table ronde, dans les associations et dans les cours du D.U. Passerelle).
Durée : 1h

Un échange avec le public aura lieu à la suite de ces tables rondes.

A l'issue des tables rondes sera organisé un moment de convivialité.

Event title: The journeys of students in exile, from their arrival in France to university: perspectives from students, organisations and the university.

This event aims to bring together, through two public debates, two groups of speakers with complementary objectives:

A round-table discussion featuring students in exile, either currently enrolled on the D.U. Passerelle programme, or who have already completed this course and are currently enrolled on a university degree programme or working.
The aim of this first discussion will be to gather testimonies from these students and former students in order to better support students in exile before they arrive at university and to better identify their needs: what kind of information? what kind of support? What kind of sociolinguistic and academic training?
Duration: 1 hour
A round-table discussion with representatives from the associations and the ‘Passerelle' University Diploma programme at Paris 8 University, to convey the needs expressed by those being supported (following the first round-table discussion, within the associations and in the ‘Passerelle' University Diploma courses).

A discussion with the audience will take place following these round-table discussions.

Following the round-table discussions, there will be a social gathering.
